The Columbus Black & Minority Chamber of Commerce is Muscogee County's premiere business organization incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation, to advance the development of African American, Hispanic and other minority businesses and promote their importance as a viable part of the economic mainstream. The purpose of the chamber is to advance the commercial, industrial, educational, and community interests of black, Hispanic and other minority-owned businesses through leadership in economic and civic development.

CBMCC serves as rthe primary advocacy organization for black businesses in the county's economy. The chamber supports and cooperates with all other African American trade, business, and social institutions to promote the inclusion of African Americans in the economic life of the region. The chamber is nonpartisan.
